- Prevent toxic and recyclable material from going into landfills by dropping off

during the Green Expo and/or weekdays during business hours: old cell phones, iPods,
MP3 players, digital still and video cameras, laptop computers, ink jet cartridges,
and toner cartridges. The electronics can be recycled either working or not. No

- Buy locally. Find farmer's markets, family farms and other sources of food grown

- Turn off your computer-Save energy and wear on your hardware an average
of $90 per year. It is recommend shutting off the monitor if you aren’t using it
for more than 20 minutes, and the whole system if there is no use for more than

- When replacing appliances, purchase new ones with the energy star sticker. (American Green Careers)
- Preserve the Earth - Don’t Idle. Idling for more than 10 seconds wastes more gas
than starting your car. Overall, Americans idle away 2.9 billion gallons of gas
